Requirements:-

Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations).

• A B.Sc. Mining Engineering degree or equivalent is essential, an advanced degree is preferred.

Experience. 

• A minimum of between 15-20 years combined mine engineering and operations experience, at open pit or underground sites, including substantial experience in hard rock Gold / Copper-Gold operations.
• Experience in senior mine management roles, such as Mine Technical Services or Mine Manager, including supervision of Mine Engineering professional staff and groups at owner operator mine sites.
• Experience communicating at a regional leadership and higher level with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Experienced in both bulk and selective mining methods.
• Site experience with oxide Au leading and Cu/Au ore bodies.
• Seasoned experience in project evaluation and Newmont’s Investment.
• System at all stages from Target ID to Definitive Feasibility, with an emphasis on value and quality analysis.
• Experience in performing M&A due diligence.
